How to use Favicon Maker

Favicon Maker turns a logo or image into a complete favicon package: favicon.ico, PNG icons from 16×16 to 512×512, an Apple touch icon, a web manifest and ready-to-paste HTML tags.

  1. Add a square logo, ideally 512×512 px or larger.
  2. Generate the favicon package.
  3. Unzip the files into your site root and paste the HTML snippet into the head.

Frequently asked questions

Which sizes are included?

favicon.ico (16, 32, 48 and 256 px), 16 and 32 px PNG favicons, a 180 px Apple touch icon and 192 and 512 px Android icons.

Why doesn’t my new favicon show?

Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Clear the cache or open the site in a private window.

Output

Up to 30 images, 100 MB each and 300 MB total per batch. Outputs are limited to 300 MB.
